This fixes two things:

  • Forward slashes in long file paths make Windows explode, which makes TexTools explode sometimes (for example the "restore mod backup" feature of penumbra attach) -- so replace them.

  • Normals were getting all hecked up doing racial deformations cus of a copy-paste error I guess:
